About Fort Henry National Historic Site
Fort Henry National Historic Site, established during the War of 1812 and rebuilt two decades later, is constructed on an elevation overlooking where the Cataraqui River flows into the St. Lawrence River. It is surrounded by 10m walls and contains a battery, barracks, massive parade grounds, a school room, jail cells, kitchens and restaurant. A large stone tower faces out toward the St. Lawrence.
The lower courtyards offer plenty of space for big green-screen setups, as was the case for U.S. rock band Fall Out Boy’s popular Centuries video, set during the Roman Empire.
