About the Prince George Hotel
This heritage site located within Springer Market Square dates back to 1809 and is composed of several limestone commercial buildings that were unified by one facade in 1892. The upper part of the main facade is in the Second Empire style and features a mansard roof and tower with decorative ironwork and a one-storey verandah with balcony. The building has housed various businesses in its lifespan, including shops, warehouses, saloons, and an inn that has recently been converted to loft apartments.
HBO’s Vendetta (1999) and TV movie The Feast of All Saints (2001), both set in 19th-century New Orleans, shot here.
