Grecos Grill & Wine Bar

Welcome to Grecos – serving you freshly prepared classic Greek and Mediterranean cuisine since 1992.

Gus came to Kingston from a small Greek village in 1972 and opened his first restaurant two years later. But it took him 20 years to bring the culinary treasures of his homeland to the people of his new hometown.

Grecos Grill & Wine Bar opened quietly on a bustling stretch of Princess Street in 1992 and it’s been a staple of the downtown scene ever since.

Almost immediately, Kingstonians were drawn there, tantalized by stories of freshly cooked lamb, chicken and seafood, home-made tzatziki, hearty, flavourful souvlaki and saganaki, a pan-fried cheese dish, served tableside with a flambe flourish.

Jimmy has kept the family legacy alive. The restaurant’s 80 seats are almost always full as customers continue to crave the same Greek and Mediterranean classics, pastas, pizzas and steak that they’ve been enjoying since Gus first opened his doors.

Jimmy and his staff invite you to join them for lunch or dinner and discover the food that has kept Kingstonians raving for years.
