Kingston Transit
Kingston Transit provides bus service within the urban area of the City of Kingston, and under contract, to the neighbouring community of Amherstview.
Transit fares:
- Ages 14 and under: free
- Ages 15 and older: $3.25
Kingston Transit also services VIA Rail. Route 16 provides bus service from the VIA Rail train station to downtown Kingston.

Kingston Trolley Tours
Covering all of Kingston’s historic old town and shopping district and as far east as Fort Henry and as far west as the Kingston Penitentiary, the summer schedule of the Trolley includes six stops at Kingston’s most popular destinations. Parking
The City administers about 1,400 on-street Pay & Display or metered parking spots. The maximum length of stay at meters varies from two to three hours and costs from $1.50 to $2 an hour.

Wolfe Island Ferry
The Wolfe Islander IV, an electric ferry, provides free service between downtown Kingston and Wolfe Island, the largest island of the Thousand Islands. Cross with your car or enjoy their walk-on service. The hours of operation vary.
